I am pretty sure he is not a member of the RPRA,that is why you have to claim your bird because he is a non fancier.

Must say I cant agree with the above statement,some of the finest distance fanciers never race their young birds and i would of thought that they would still breed of them as yearlings,also what about people who breed latebreds and put them straight in the stock loft the following year they have never been trained let alone raced.

Not sure if I missed the outcome of this but if it hasn,t been posted I would be very interested as to what happened.

I believe that this is the ruling anyway,but how will that stop people taking the rings off as I dont think they take them for their own use.

Are you saying that you rubber birds that have ETS rings on to go to a race,whats the point of having ETS,surely that would cause twice as much work on basketing nights.

I think you are getting all mixed up over this, l hate what he is doing the same as everyone else but I do know over the years many have tried to take this man to task with the law and the RPRA and he as allways come out on top,this man is employed by the local council as a pest control agent,He is within the law to set traps etc to catch whatever and I suppose to deal with them anyway he can within the law,which he does,these arguments have been coming up year after year and still he is in business after over thirty years,I have read all these things people are coming up with all before be he is still there.

Definatley no mate of mine,buy I do remember when this guy started up and all the problems that many fanciers have had with him,if I remember the then manager of the RPRA wrote in the BHW warning members to comply with the letter as they would be breaking RPRA rules if they didnt, if it is the same bloke,never know he may have sold the business to someone else but the paperwork is the same,think there was also a thread on here a few years ago about him.You must of been one of the lucky ones if you had no trouble from him.

Years ago every other letter in the BHW was about this guy and the way he operated but nobody ever got the better of him because he knows the law and the RPRA rules and he is within both,so dont try fighting him as loads have tryed before and regretted it.

Think this must be MR.Gollings he as been doing this for years,started out with nothing now as a house and a corn business,just do as it says on the paperwork as this guy as got this business all above board,you can get in serious trouble with the RPRA and the law if you dont.

Hi Tippler,Let us know how they come,Severn Valley Fed which Gloucester Fed members are also in cancelled our race from the same racepoint because of severe weather conditions,makes you wonder at times.

Good idea but who is going to be the people who go round to the shows,game fairs etc,surely a better idea would be to use the trailer the RPRA allready as,i,m sure they would loan it out if it was shown the people using it was doing a good job.

Any idea which weeks it was in so I can cut it out and put up in our clubhouse.
