  1. No when your thinking of yourself and not a fed! I had a good race but don't make it a good race buddy. Jimmys was not his winner?? Where u get that? Jimmy had a red pied that he usually has to go let in late at night as its late most weeks. Wis winner from last week was not in till about 12.20. Almost 45 mins behind his first one. Yeah your opinion is it was a good race but the fed birdage will tell if it was or not
  2. Yeah and where were they this week?? Tired from 85 and then no where from 132!
  3. Yeah that's cos its only 132 miles and 3 and a half hours on wing. If birds were tired from that then in big trouble. But don't make it a good race and to say it was for yourself is okay but was not a good race. I personally had a great one but I still think changes need made at agm for this area races to not happen in future. Too many fed birds missing and as a fed we need to sort it by either going west or by jumping through durham and not libbing in area.
  4. Was at the sale held last night in loanhead miners. What a great turn out and I have 2 say was probably the best lot of 50+ birds I have seen on sale. Managed to purchase a pair and only missed out on 1 bird I wanted that was d jamiesons but went for £210. Sale and donations added with raffle made £5000. Well done all concerned for the worthy charity for cancer research
  5. Don't think it was a good race mate. Some people got good returns and others got a hammering so waaaay off a good race. I got lucky with quick returns but jimmy who won club got one and waited 40 mins for 2nd and only had 3-17 at clocks. And his birds have been steady all races he has competed
  6. Well done jimmy. Hope members returns are better now as at clocks I was suprised to hear how poor. I was 12-15 at clocks and had 1 more since so 13-15. Others where not so lucky
  7. Same story here in rosewell... 4 percies above as birds were due home and a fellow club members bird was attacked as it came home. It had still not came home when he was at clocks so a chance the percie got it then followed the sparrowhawk!! I am also finished ybs now and will have late breds out all winter!!
  8. Well done Andy m8
  9. Lost more youngsters flying only 83miles so far down east than we did when we flew programme down west last year. Started with about 36 and sent 15 last night and stopped about 9 thats been racing so 24/36 so far. Last season only lost about 6-7 down west. I have no problems either side HOWEVER I feel a major problem when in the Durham area (There today THIRSK) Birds seem to loose homing ability when libbed in area and takes longer to get them home. Thats my theory anyways. Think there is an air base in there that sends signals that scamper the minds of the pigeons. Hope today is better but when we went to THIRSK as a come back race with old birds was a nightmare race with FED 20 pos taking 1hr 37 mins to fill. Winner done 3hrs 48mins and still on fed sheet almost 5 hours on wing after
  10. Best of luck to all thats racing and hope for good returns

  15. Yeah think 3 at 27 past and g tytler was 28 past. Nothing between 4 lofts so good racing
  16. Think the one Andy bought of mine is the one that broke its legs sadly. And jonh smith who got the other one was took by hawk. So my 2 were proper unlucky
  17. Yeah well done the "silent" but not too silent partner chris
  18. See it now mate... Will u do the rest of yb's then and save me as I won't know result till jimmy hands it in
