Handled every one of my pigeons from racers to stock today! 95% of the non late breeds are on there last flight. I have been feeding 25% barley 15%redband 5%bos pellets and 5% crushed peanuts and 50%mixture. Apart from them being well over weight (how I have them in sept\oct) they are a1 condition

Entries to be in for WED 31st October so able to work out how many pens need sorted out. Then you come in on the morning of show and get all your allocated pen numbers. Either just PM me on here or send in post/phone class number and number of entries (i.e) Class 1 ..... 2 entries Class 2 ..... 3 entries And so on

Well they made it even worse for them self's only making it raced any distance and 2011/12..... means a 2011 YB that flew 50 miles then stopped for good entitled to go in against a racer maybe been to the inland nationals 2012. So the 2011 bird has sat in loft all year while the racer has been clocking up the miles. I know what one I'd rather have going into show pen

Wont make a bit difference John.... If SHU feel there is cheating going on at some shows with flown certs then surely they should get up and do something about it! Not punish the guys who cant show because of the ruling

Unlikely Malcolm.... I also dont think they understand how to draw the highest amount of birdage as first show and turning away entries

The show in 2009 and 2010 were both the 1st sat in november. We tried to take the old larkhall slot as close as possible. That used to be last sat oct. However 2011 we missed hall so the club secretary booked it months back! But he thought he booked first weekend in december for some reason. He went to double check and it is the 1st weekend in november again we took! Sadly hall is booked right up so no choice but to take the november slot or we'd not have a show again 2012. Shame

Yeah i'd have to agree its a tough call.... The best one in the batch was maybe the one the BOP nailed. Or the one that was badly injured and unable to return. Dont think its always the bad ones to be lost. On another day it could be totally diff pigeons missing

Please NOTE the date that was given for hall booking was WRONG. Club secretary thought 1st weekend in December when it has actually been booked 1st weekend in November!!
