So what do I do if I only want to send to Bordeaux...........
  2. Ben I was ready to send to Fraserburgh, but my son was not so keen now we can go to France. My successes are largly due to his assistance so. I guess we will just send Alencon MNFC and Bordeaux NFC. So all change in the pen again

Glad to be going but what is wrong with bergerac. I thought the object of the club was to promote long distance racing. Don't tell me they couldn't do it cos mine went from Alencon 297mls to Tarbes 634mls last year.
  4. So how many south roaders bottled it. Mine went north how many more did the same. You only turn 'em if you really have the courage of your convictions

Sounds ridiculous to me my birds have done Perth already. Alencon is ok for the yearlings. Tours is no good for birds that have done Bergerac Tarbes and Perth. Looking after the sprint boys again then.
  6. Paul go and see Rose
  7. So when was the last time Mick Levitt raced
  8. Glad you got a happy ending Pecked. Some of us do our best. Even then we make mistakes sometimes.
  9. Clive Yates has the Wildies and I have a son off one of his MNFC winning Wildies
  10. Tiz on RPRA web site now
  11. Well I got my e-mail from RPRA, and it sounds like good news to me. With a bit o' luck we could get 300mls 24-6-06, and maybee Bergerac or Bordeaux 15-7-06 535/515mls to me
  12. Biss, Newcome, Kirkland, all top boys but how about a flyer that was at a great disadvantage and still took one of the countries top honours. Jed Jackson for me....
  13. Dropped one latebred on first race out of twenty. Ah hindsight
  14. I feed standard widowhood mix. They fly natural and have as much food as they want. Locals say don't they fly well ? Yes the little sods. LOL
  15. I have a reliable source that says we won't be going this year. After looking into her christal ball at some length my gran says no way mate.......
  16. Nice to Know I'm not alone. I let mine out at six and have a job to get 'em down before dark. Similar age to yours Hyacinth. Little Sods is a phrase often used round here too. LOL
  17. I wouldn't worry about the age if they fly well but as soon as there's a dip in willingness to fly then look at worming. Ivermectin great stuff just don't over medicate
  18. My boy (the proverbial bridesmaid) 1217ypm Taunton with Warwick fed
  19. Warwick fed liberated Taunton 0700
  20. Picauville LOL. This years young birds have NFC rings to go 240mls. No chance. If we get France back though, that's where they'll go. 206 /240mls
  21. They beat you home, then go off roaming again I guess. Time to go 10mls me thinks.
  22. Thanks ribble, but I am not trying to blow my own trumpet. I couldn't get 'em to fly round my hat till I bought the Colin Walker book. Top advice from a top vet. I don't like the implication, I am stuck in the dark ages. I'm not on commision but I try to get everybody to by this book.
  23. Can't talk for anybody else but our birds are going north not with NFC as we'd planned
  24. I'd look to see why you've lost 'em. My first guess would be red mites.
  25. Far be it from me to tell you which way to go but. I race down the west country with the Warwick fed, my birds go south rd on a regular bassis. Saturday I sent with the NRCC to Perth 297mls and stand at 8th sec 5. Got 'em all. I know people don't want to send north but what alternative have you. We may not get into France, and north rd might be your only chance of some distance. I realy feel for you Rose, if you can't find the enthusiasm to go north. If channel racing went out the window what would you do. No way will I give up 'cos we can't go south, what will you do.
