    Travelled up from Yorkshire hardly any wind there this morning but some heavy showers on route

    Sitting outside Harrogate at the Tour de France been roasting since 12.00 not a cloud in the sky at the moment. Just starting on my second bottle of red so I can't feel the pain of climbing those hills on my bike tomorrow. Will update the weather tomorrow if the doos go

    Wullie I brought it up at the agm after the messac race where it was a real disaster with only 51 birds made it home. I put a letter in asking for an enquiry into the race. They held the enquiry but no lesson were learned from the enquiry apart from the race control team were cleared of getting it wrong.. They need professional weather forecast information which costs money. If the Snfc used this for channel races it might just help the guys who are controlling the race make a more informed decision. I wasn't having a go at Jim Hannah and Peter Calder who were in charge at the time but giving the guys a hand and provide them with up to date weather forecasts was my aim.

    Not going to tell them how far away Africa is. They are in my daughters stable quite amazing watching them. Just like those wee brave pigeons that battle against the odds. France is a long way hopefully the birds missing make it home in the next few days.

    Yes a great pigeon man who I don't know Lewis. But in my opinion he should be in section D . Very well done if he has won the section.

    H Menzies just can't understand why those guys are in section E he took a great position in the north west fed duplication but flys in section E

    Paul the leading batches are getting hit. Heard lots of guys saying they have been getting doos first they never thought they would get.
