  1. Sorry to hear of that sad news John. Having seen the quality in your loft I am sure another few good doos will step up.
  2. Do you think holding the northwest until 10.00 helped miss the hawks?? While the feds who went earlier have found it slightly tougher. Will be intresting to see if Lanarkshire/Solway get a good race on Monday smaller convoy and not many other feds racing.
  3. Correct Frank get the birds into Scotland they will have a better chance of getting home. In a couple of weeks they will be doing it from the inland nationals.

  6. Tell the guy to f off.. you going soft? No one has the rights to stop someone posting up updates. It allows other race controllers and fellow fanciers to see what is happening across the country. Keep posting them John
  7. Cheers Tommy.
  8. Going by train tomorrow to Birmingham normally drive to or I could have collected it.
  9. Reported on pigeon chat. 5 mins from Middleton.
  10. Yes we both know it John. First up takes the pounding and the guys after that get a better run. Wait and see the doos getting reported in Manchester area in the next few days if they have not flown themselves into the ground.
  11. 7500 dont get turned with other pigeons to face a south wind. Clashing forget it. Staring you in the face PEREGRINE the one and only cause
  12. Bloody draw in my works one unbelievable. One of the girls too.
  13. Great to see a proper result. Well done the Carluke club.
  14. I would put a scraper on the floor nothing else beats it.
  15. Personally I wouldn't run any sales or races. I would just bump the membership fee up. Said that at the time of getting new transporter. With the amount of work these fed officials put in trying to keep costs down I guess they will be wondering if it is really worth all the effort. Today's race would have been successful if Saturdays race wasn't so difficult for lots of members.
  16. 290 to Blantyre from Buckingham Newbury was 325 and 360 to Dundee Not having a go sometimes the guys on the committee have their hands tied.
  17. I would say Buckingham was central. Very short race point for a first inland national though.
  18. Lanarkshire doos at Appleby must have been the same they were coming out the south all day in one's and two's. Hopefully if the weather breaks they may run the gauntlet.
