    A lot of boys from the West moved East to follow the pit work guess they swelled the numbers of doo men in the 60's and 70's in the East So it may have had an impact on the drag it would be good to see what the section birdage was in these races.

    I prefered the box perches with trays underneath. It was easier to catch the youngsters and you can spot a problem in the droppings in the trays. but each to there own chadwick. Good to see ya back!!

    I visited his lofts sometime after his sale. The lofts were wide open to the elements on enquiring what he did if the snow blew into the loft. "Just brush it back out son"

    Personally I believe that area of France should be a no go. Mostly due to the vast distance over the channel. Where the shorter crossing should be easier nearer Calais . Although my argument cant really stand up due to years of successful races from that French peninsula. So I am stumped.
