I think averages should be worked out in a points system. If you dont want to send your birds every week you are still in the averages for the longer races. Too many good birds are lost or thrown away when you start chasing trophies. How many times have we said to ourselves I will not send this week because of bad weather/birds not fit enough ect. We send just the same as we dont want to be out of the averages To many good birds thown away for average chasing ( Thats my thoughts )
