Well done all -
There 2nd race
-
Ayrshire had a bad one as I've been told today
-
Brilliant toss again today Tommy 19/19 all within 20 Min fed training really going well and birds looked after defo so hats off to Lanarkshire fed and drivers
-
Another great toss wae lanarkshire fed today 19/19 all home within 20 Min of each other defo safety in numbers were perigans are involved I think more feds should train young birds even during the racing if possible as it's defo helping the birds and by God do wee need it the way fanciers are are lossing birds training on there own
-
The perigans love to split the birds first then they will pick ones of that go on there own or in a couple etc they focus on meat not really colour in my opinion but there killing our many birds no matter the colours the *expletive removed*
-
Don't think the perigans are fussy I've lost a black and 2 DK cheq lol
-
Only had 2 tosses with fed and by far the best I've had and my previous training of 8 tosses from under 8 MLS some were taking 3 hours and over so my advice would be train with fed after maybay a few short tosses on there own but everyone has their own ways whichever suits the fancier it's there decision but I believe in giving birds a few with fed at least but I believe not a lot of feds do training so good on Lanarkshire for doing it in the first place and helping fanciers and the birds
-
Another good training toss with Lanarkshire fed today 20/20 long may it continue
-
One thing is for sure our birds are well looked after with Lanarkshire fed that's one thing in our birds favour
-
I've had 8 short tosses from strathy etc which took some up to 4 hours my best toss was with fed for first time yesterday 20/21 and most within half hour so the fed training seems the way to go I think but everyone has their own way which works for them I suppose
-
I've always believed in the last few years that all these new masts windfarms etc are something to do with the birds homing ability being affected they all cause static electricity in the air and ground and affect the magnetic fields but everyone has their reasons but definitely something in it this didn't happen years ago you couldn't loss a lot of birds even racing never mind training wen there wasn't as much masts etc I suppose the reasons will go on but the losses will get worse I've no doubt about that
-
As I've said before our birds homing ability is getting affected badly wae something it's happening to to many all over the UK it's not the birds or the faciers faults it's gut wrenching went you try to build a team of young and this happens I just hope the ones that's waiting on doos that some manage to get through to yous and the very best of luck as wee need it the way things are going
