Hi guys i need some knowledge on some wood work to do as I’m hopeless I got nestboxes 6 lots but need block or something to lift them up by 1 feet from the ground as I find it annoying that the pigeons sit at the top. I can board up the bottom also I think it’s not nice that bottom nest are near to ground as think pigeons hate that.

Will be pairing up February and got new loft with 3 sections so 2 sections will have the nestboxes for my first attempt at widowhood and the other section for the hens when it comes to racing I do the hens with the cocks short time to motivate them before basketing for race. So I’m learning

They are Bas ards got 2 doos killed before with them.

I used to have white racers but they are easy target for BOP so losing them, I rather stick to normal racers for racing but white is good for wedding releases etc as shorter distance to home is safe. But still Percy can still kill.

The way I vaccinate my birds are all caught up into the basket and one by one I hold them down on a table and pull down the neck feathers and swab too then inject in the neck but not too deep. So they been fine also I write their ring numbers into the book for records too.

Disgusting to steal doos those are peoples hobbies and lifestyle

Lol but like the way they say feathered fowl but pigeons are not fowls, also a good way to remember that pigeons did their bit for the war too.

Well I’m the youngest at my club at age of 40 and I will continue until I’m old and not able so pigeon racing is my hobby

Hi guys it’s been a while as it’s resting season with lots of molting, I am getting another loft soon so the old one is getting knocked down, I have question is once the new one is up will they learn to fly towards their new home? My birds just now are all in the small loft temporarily and not flying out at the moment. The cruel weather will come along so want all my birds to feel comfy for the winter coming
