Sorry lads but I agree with Phil here , I put the phone number rings on all of mine ,apart from a number of years ago when I had a flyaway. Got 3 reported out of 12 lost ,since then spent plenty on them never had one (apart from the one below)reported ,buy them at 100 at a time does me nearly 3years ,I've had one guy local to me have one of my youngsters in lost it as a 5week old squeaker he phoned me nearly 3 weeks later saying he just got it in , I went got it ,kept it in a few days ,let it out and straight back to him like a bullet . Ps he has a dark loft and the baby had started to lose lots of feathers (moult) .obviously he's had it in and never noticed it ,expletive remove it was a light cheq pied ,very much like de smaradg 11 (spelling ) with a red phone number on its leg . Amazing they can miss it in their loft . So yes there are guys out there that don't know their birds some couldn't tell the front from the back of one never mind know if any of them are theirs , just do a head count .
