  10. ps i never said it wiz our race controllers that need sorting ,lanark libed first its the others surely they could have held for another 20 mins or so and let the lanark doo's pass , this was a disaster waiting to happen . and mr quinn would u like me to be lanark race controller ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????? didnt think so
  11. no you havent seen the real hotrod , you come on here with that know it all attitude , and rubish the post about prob clash yesterday and tell me that i dont know anything about race points where they are and what direction the will fly from said race point ( what was it GET MY FACTS RIGHT )thats what you said ,expletive remove most of lanarkshire didny know if it wiz selby or bubwith they were racing from , check out post 36 and the white line you drew on small map ,that says it all you change it when it suits you or should i say disny suit you ,i have appologised for the rude comment made to you on open forum ,pathetic a disgrace ? you can say this to my face the next time we meat gareth ?
  12. ok i apologise for any abusive comment made to gareth rankin ,but i wont retract the fact that he has this totally wrong ,anyone out there with a map use a ruller and draw a straight line through just to the west of york from just from the east of selby and where does it end up at ? between arbroath and aberdeen so not the supposed line of flight ,this will be my last post on here on this matter ,all i posted in the begining was the strong chance of birds clashing and was ridiculed by gareth and his high and mighty stance on just about everything on pigeon basics( on a subject that im very very good on geography) . in the end i have had enough of bloody race controllers taking chances with OUR/YOUR PIGEONS ,ITS ABOUT TIME SOMETHING IS DONE ABOUT IT .
  13. aye thats right gareth your right again go back on yer taxi, i have maps as well but not wee squares aff the internet ,you ------ now yer really gettin up ma ------ nose ya big ----
  14. excuse me sir me being ignorant dont think so , you put a line on your map showing the line of flight and you are wrong because that line takes the birds towards aberdeen( check out on any map) which you stated in an earlier debate that the birds would not do (dont dog leg) im affraid the 12 miles is more like 4 or 5 miles apart which in pigeon racing is not far at all . any way i hope im wrong for the birds sake .
  15. ive just checked that out on map gareth on a straight line to motherwell you dont go through york its straight through ripon and just a few miles east of wetherby ,so now the birds dont fly in a straight line NOT WHAT YOU WERE SPOUTING EARLIER IN THE YEAR .on the map that you put up york is direct north of selby lanarkshire is n/west of selby DOUBLE STANDARDS I THINK . AS BIGDA SAYS YOUR RIGHT EVEN WHEN YOUR WRONG .
  16. if they fly in a straight line gareth , a bit too near if you ask me .
  17. i would say its odds on a clash . 4/6 or 4/7 in fact . we will wait and see i hope im wrong for lanarks sake .
  18. its actually the lanark doos would be above the wetherby ones at lib EVEN WORSE .
  19. i dont think that will matter one iotta today mate there only a few miles apart and 15 mins separating them ,do you think the lanark birds wont go high to start with then head into wind and get lower and lower ,the kent birds will be right above them or just about above them at lib time . another 20/30 mins and all would be fine ,trust me THEY WILL HIT EACH OTHER . wait and see .
  20. some one not doing there homework ? big lanark away at 7.15 at selby and kent amal away at 7.30 at wetherby just north west of selby CLASH TODAY I THINK IDIOTS .
  21. are you sending with the snrpc allan ?
  22. i for one am not a member but i was thinking of the guys in the north only as the last bird posted was about 3.45 yesterday the first arrival was 3.25(posted) in the north not much time for any other birds ,to get a mention ,and as for people not calling in their arrivals make it as rule just as some english organisations do ,but yes its a thankless job the same as race marking, the guys running around picking up birds from marking stations, the clock setters you name it ,i think that when i was on the snfc commitee we paid some wee girl(through john gray) to do it £50 per race for about 5/6 hrs not bad £10 per hour ? any takers out there ? lots of unemployed ?
  23. having logged onto the SNFC site yesteraday to see the arrivals one thing that i have noticed is that they stop updating very quickly ,the guys in the north had only just timed in and few had birds and it stopped( not very fair) just my honest oppinion, maybe should be looked at by commitee ?
  24. just heard that wee vincey henry has timed at 13.31 in hamilton
  25. GB 08 X 13487 AND GB 08 L 06367 ANY TAKERS.
