they dont need to be that fit for 40 mile race billy ,trained to about 20 miles 2 or 3 times would do them fine mate 40 miles is only at normal speed an hours fly .surely even bird straight oot the dookit could fly for an hour as long as there naw like turkeys /too heavy

johnstone billy ? theres a percy nest in the quarry in johnstone and there bloody good hunters ,then on way home they pass another quarry beith another pr of percy's why go that way ? crazy imo and its north east of you .

you could jump them to 100 miles no probs billy as long as they have had some work under there belt ie 5/6 30/40 milers .
