I have certain birds that will follow me anywhere if they know I have peanuts in my pocket even drop out of the sky onto my shoulder and as Jimmy says feed them their normal feed then top up with peanuts.The biggest problem I have with that,we basket for the longer races on Wednesday for Sat. Lib.If it's an old over to say Monday the birds aren't going to get peanuts and some will do without food thinking peanuts will be available?? .This can't do them any good but what can we do,once they're hooked on peanuts it's hard to change a habit.Lindsay.

Why not just give them Moxidectin for a day,sorted.

I've used just about everything over the years and come to the conclusion what a waste of good money.Resorted to Epsom salts, Carb Soda,Iodine,Cider Vinegar,Garlic,Ground Nut Oil and Glucose, that's about your lot.Just worked round them and saved a bomb.Must admit the young birds even though late have kept their health.Fingers crossed on that one.I do however have the usual treatments in the coupboard just incase.Lindsay ps.Gary Spavins,bitter stimulant powder.

Hi Mate my back garden's the same,least bit of rain and it's flooded,a wall either side of the garden and a tarmac footpath behind the lofts.I levelled it off with road chippings,layed 2x2 slabs and then railway sleepers on top,have a look at photo you'll get a rough idea.Click to enlarge.Lindsay C.
