ive been out this morning trying to make space to put my one tonne of feeding thats being delivered this morning from gibb of galston cheaper to buy in bulk but nightmare to store but works out at 10 30 per bag for there all rounder which ive been using the past 3 years so ill stick with it and just add my barley to it sore back coming up lol

im afraid no one knows the future of our sport george we could listen to the doom and gloom merchants who say its finnished and they maybe right but i say enjoy it while we still have it to enjoy and take each year as it comes m8 clubs feds and nationals will be forced to come together to survive and there is very little young blood like yourself coming through to keep our sport alive young guys now are just not interested in pigeons im afraid kids are into different things nowdays and pigeons are not one of them ive tried to get local kids involved in pigeons grandkids to but when they see the work involved they dont want to know and who can blame them so worry about today not what might happen tomorrow imo

glad to hear it tony newark and leicester have been bad race points for lanarkshire fed for years m8 i had 8 birds hawked in newark and 11 hawked in leicester last season alone wakefield is another bad one so much for less hawks down the east route hawks and clashing with so much racing is a bad mix imo m8 glad lanarkshire is out of it

never tried them paired that late i see what your trying to do but i like to see the first flight away as i dont think they reach peak condition untill they drop one flight at least but you can pair late let them sit 10 days or more to suite the race you want then throw the eggs out to get ready for the race you want and when they go down on 2nd set they should cast first flight when sitting around 10 days or so or keep them sit dummies then let them go the race on first wee youngster of the year or chipping eggs this works for both sexes but takes planning but great incentive and yes thats to suite races june to mid july hope this helps give you some ideas neil
