Got a microscope from a friend a short time ago used it like a maniac and told a couple of the members on this site with the over use I felt that somebody had hit me in the eye with a hammer . But what I would say just looking at the birds droppings the texture, shape, and colour, will let you know what's going on. . Would also like to add have never sent droppings away to be tested and I never will. If my birds are not right I definitely don't need to pay somebody to tell me so.

Very hard question to answer. Your first round young birds will have/ get 100% immune soft feeding from their parents and should be good for some time. If you let the parents go to nest again when still feeding the first round the goodness/ immune past to the second round will be less . And so on .imo that's why you will always hear guys saying the first young birds from my yearlings are the best young birds. . But if you are feeding the correct amount of feeding to the amount of young birds you have in your section and more than 25% are running at feeders with wings up treat them . JMHO.

Hopefully will get my birds away this week for their first race . And will probably be miles behind but I will have 100% returns. :lol: :lol:

Well done Mark Gilbert. Just goes to show George. Top fancier and still looking for things to motivate his birds . One thing about all the top guys they never stand still.

Getting 100% returns from a race nowadays is as hard as winning the race Alan . But guys that don't make the results always seem to get 100% returns
