so many adverts in this weeks copy . folk having to reduce stock due to illness , some of whom have been suffering for a few years now ? . "overstocked" due to not racing ? & winning bloodlines from folk ive never heard of ? etc etc .how on earth are you meant to buy in new stock when half the adverts dont hold any water ??

i had a shot at it Billy , it didnt look very neat at all . the more i looked at it the less i liked it . i could also see a major flaw. although it would prevent the slug crossing it , nothing to stop them going up the side of the doorway and in that way ?? will look to see what the "copper strip" is like that DWH suggested ? aye , off topic . how technology has changed eh .central heating (what a laugh) when i was a boy my Mother would place a candle in the middle of the floor during the Winter. my brothers and i would sit around it , and if it was very cold , she would light it

hard to describe perhaps ? i would look at a drop down pad , levelled a few inches below the entrance and bottom of the "bob wire" .so basically the bird pushes through the "bob" and jumps down onto the pad .with the weight and action of the wires sitting on there shoulders as they do so . hope that makes sense ?
