  5. the walls are painted Tony , the loft is 2nd hand and had been painted several times before . the floor ,ceiling and boxes arent tho ?
  6. theres a wind farm up on Sutra hill just a few miles from here , and on the line of flight for many . birds seem to cope with them ok ?

  19. i tried it the first year i raced old birds in 2005 ,never won a ticket at all .but the birds looked very well on it . i think it would be a different story now , having a little more experience .
  20. i have bought the "moisture traps" from Asda for just a £1 ,but never thought about placing them in the loft ?

  22. thats an interesting point about "leaving grit & minerals" in the loft Peter . i wonder how many change or remove it ? it looks like the minimal amount of moisture in the loft is just something i will have to live with.
