ive not seen this before Walter , so yes would agree more to moths than any other ? although still not totally sure. its only the 2 outer flights that have this damage , so "its old damage" ??

well my original choice wont be going , Mrs Burgess has picked a "gud yin" . ive considered a few , yet dont know them like previous years , with not doing much at the loft so i will plump for red pied cock SU 14 E 370 .

i believe both are nest flights Bill . yet ive not seen this "condition " before . i seem to get 1 or 2 every season always happy to see them (Buschaert x Hongaloot) by the way . it may well be a mouse ,yet its uniform almost ?

have had a blue-pied hen arrive this morning . she trapped along with the cocks who had been out flying . i thought what a little beauty . its 1 lost as a youngster . her feet , life ring , phone ring , and ETS all coated in red clay/ dry sand ?? . no sign of injury , no lice or mite ? and a little on the thin side. has quite a shine to her apart from her 2 outer flight feathers ? they appear to be "nibbled at" on the outer edge ?? any ideas what it could be ? i want to put her in a section with some youngsters , yet am a little reserved , "just in case" ? whats your thoughts on her ?
