slightly off topic Sandy , and i hope Tony doesnt mind. i have mentioned this before (getting to an age where i repeat myself often) . way back when , my Uncle had a neighbour who flew in the same club/fed and was getting the "rip" taken out of him at basketing one Friday night .his loft faced North and was told he would never win un-less it faced South. he called upon a few work-mates to help him turn it about. they done this early on the Saturday , finishing a short time before the birds arrived home . he didnt have a good trap , i wonder why eh
great information Peter , thank you. can i ask what your racing loft is like today , compared to when you flew with your Brother ? apart from heating panels now , are there many other changes or ??
East / North East . that,s the way they tend to come on a race day too , all other club members are further East than us from 2 to 7 mile further East . does it ever really hit form ? wet summers as much as dry summers these days i would prefer it to face South , thats the best in my opinion . would take an awful lot of "messing about" to achieve that here tho .
