A mutation has to happen way back in some breed of pigeon then pigeon fanciers cross breed into say homer type birds and inbreed or line breed to get that gene into their birds.most funny colours come from the fancy birds and its bred into racer / homer birds......I was in poland this year and the colour of the street pigeons was amazing

You need a barless blue to start with or 2 blues with the barless blue gene to get barless blues.

What lines are they....

Pigeon fanciers call them different names ash, mosaic ,opal and silvers...opal and mosaic are different to ash and silvers...Ash and silvers are dilute blue or check.

Im suprised no one seems to have these colour of racing pigeons.....

A friend is after ash blue or ash check pigeons...not the ones in the vandenabelle lines as not ash....If anyone on here races birds containing these colours can you pm me.

This lad needs a real fright....no point in breaking 1 leg do 2 and it will be a while before he walks and he will have plenty of time to think about what he has done.

As the nights close in they will really start to moult some throwing 2 or 3 flights at a time...be finished latest january

Can i ask what type of transporters / crates or baskets the feds in scotland are using for the inland and channel long distance races.What views have fanciers have on the new transporters metal crates.

What time did the sellers start arriving at lier.... Great weekend...

Once i get mine loft fit and they are doing 30 to 40 mins each fly then ill think about training about 2 weeks before my 1st race 2nd week of april.fitness around the loft is more inportant to me than chucking birds in a basket for the sake of it.

One missing myself 2nd time out this year...
