  15. Not been on for a while, after ten years of trying finally got our first win yesterday, 351 miles from Messac, two year old bussheart hen sitting eggs, best moment for me in pigeon racing by far, looking forward to next season old birds already now. Paul Locklin.
  16. Young birds I feed very light first thing in the morning, but dont let them out due to going to work, get home at 5:15pm let them out 45min - 1hr, call them in whistle and shake tin, in they go and they get a full feed. repeat every day. When they get older and ranging or basket training then I might get up earlier and let them out in good weather. you must be careful with the feed as you need control all the time, you are in charge. Paul
  17. Due to Work and other hobbies Im flying Channel only this year, this should take the pressure off me and hopefully a lot more enjoyable.. Paullock

  20. Your post is me all over, hope I can remain sain and carry on racing, finding myself locking at other hobbys though, love my birds though I would never get rid of them, even flying them at home and training them would be enough for me, I thing most od the neighbours would be gutted if I gave it up too as they and ther kids like to watch them in the summer months. Paul.
