approx 1912 birds were libbed at thornton at 08.45 , lovely clear morning with little cloud , birds broke into two batches and cleared quickly and very high atb to all competing

basketing for thornton is going ahead as usual, for once we have a reasonable forecast , 27 birds per crate and first message will be 9am

Good!! Considering we have only done 2x60 mile races I would doubt feeding or motivation would be major factors given that you are feeding quality mixes

approx 1150 birds will be libbed at brechin at 9am, 90% blue sky with a brisk n/e wind, not so bright this end with scattered showers but not as cold or windy as was forecast, atb to all competing Can i ask all secy to ask their members what there anticipated birdage will be for next week as with two poor forecasts the last two weeks we may have a good lorry load next week and it will help me with birdage nos per crate. Dont forget the fed sale on Sunday :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Not the best forecast ever but should be able to get them up on Saturday ok so basketing going ahead as normal with 25 birds per crate. please be aware that the fed yb sale is this Sunday in Inverurie with a great selection of top birds available, details are on your race card. Was assuming that a certain number don't race much,its still over 60,000 per week during the racing season

If they all lose 40 birds each a year then it's over 1.6 million in a six month spell,scary
