  1. Saw one today as well Dougie at Newmill near Keith. Also noticed a dead sparrowhawk on the road there, looked like it was hit by a car.
  2. Gutted for you John. Keep you chin up mate. Paul.
  3. You w*&*%r Mr Quinn!!!
  4. Sad news. Ally was a larger than life character who invested a great deal of himself serving our Fed over the years. He threw himself whole heartedly into everything he did and he will be missed. Paul.
  5. Love the photos Willie especially the graph showing how the winning birds had performed over the program, really fascinating. I think it would be interesting to do with my own doo's over a season.
  6. Happy birthday Andy, all the best mate.
  7. Well done Willie delighted for you mate.
  8. Best of Luck Willie, we will all be cheering you on :scotland:

  11. Hi Johnny, Good luck with the sale mate. Sorry to hear about your health problems. You will be a great loss to the sport and to our Fed. All the best, Paul.
  12. Sorry to hear that pal
  13. See robbiedoo's post, a lot of good birds available close to you
  14. Like it :emoticon-0136-giggle:
  15. Really Vinny... only 3 ?
  16. Too play 1000 games is brilliant. To play 1000 games for Manchester United when they have been the best team in England (by a mile) for 20 years is truly incredible and I doubt we will see the like ever again.
  17. Nice photos
  18. Well done lads :emoticon-0137-clapping:

  20. The original warm-down maybe Derek? Don't know if I would have the nerve to give a national winner a toss though
  21. Best of luck Willie :scotland:
  22. Our birds are picked up at 5pm for the short races then 12, 10, 8 and even 6am for the longer races. There are some members that cannot make the basketing due to work for any race. I am fortunate enough to be able to work round the basketing times to be there every week as do some of the lads who are self-employed or retired. The lads who can't make the basketing always do their bit at other times either cleaning crates or being there to do the clocks. One guy even sends his wife when he is working and she does a great job helping at basketing. I dont mind for one second putting through birds every week for guys that can't be there due to work. However, if somebody simply chose not to go simply as they did not want to that is another matter all together and would not be tolerated in our club. We are lucky whereby everyone in our club pulls their weight.
  23. 2 great goals, the lad Umtiti's strike for Lyon was as good as I have seen in a long time.
