You will give yourself a lot of extra work there mate. I would try one pair pure and try a pair crossed. A lot of the best racers are first crosses dont get hung up with pure bloodlines. Either that or pair the cock to one hen and float the eggs ( 2 rounds ) then pair him to the other that way you can race birds off him to both hens. Good luck. Paul.

Good point, I had a problem years ago when I lived out in the country I actually went and got myself a ferret and when I cleaned it out I would scatter some round the loft every now and again kept them away. Paul.
