My first youngster hatched yesterday. It is the first one since I returned to the sport and the first pigeon I have bred since the year 2000. I must admit I was a bit emotional yesterday I have been looking forward to this for many a long year. Just thought I would share it with you.
Thanks,
Paul.
Well said Adam they are obviously a successful family, problem is Masserella breed off anything to mass produce. But in fairness they will produce winners as part of a numbers game. I have only heard good things about John Mellor and his birds. Hope they keep winning for you.

I would like to thank Taylor's Choice for their great service. The communication is first class, delivery timescales are very good and their prices are very competitive. I would recommend them to anyone, first class service.
Thankyou,
Paul.
You will give yourself a lot of extra work there mate. I would try one pair pure and try a pair crossed. A lot of the best racers are first crosses dont get hung up with pure bloodlines. Either that or pair the cock to one hen and float the eggs ( 2 rounds ) then pair him to the other that way you can race birds off him to both hens. Good luck.

Good point, I had a problem years ago when I lived out in the country I actually went and got myself a ferret and when I cleaned it out I would scatter some round the loft every now and again kept them away.
