  1. just like a wee race, great education for the youngsters with another good toss but one down today 52/53
  2. First time on the transporter with youngsters 53/53' great toss, hope it keeps up .
  3. Danny, I really can't be bothered debating this with you any further , as you won't see any sense , all I will say is that Budgie turned from south to north with experienced old birds, and good on him but there's a queer old difference between this and youngsters, with regards " others" wanting a race nearer the yb national distance and the owing them a living you know that would not be me as I am only here for the pilgrims !!! :emoticon-0140-rofl:
  4. Danny, as someone who goes to every old bird race in the programme, and that includes every national I find your comments regards being scared of Stafford laughable, especially coming from yourself who kakas his pants when the distance is over 150 ML, with regards overfly I really don't give a toss about it especially where club racing is concerned, I have also previously seen posts on here where you have slated Otterburn as a race point and in fact you have referred to it as " slaughter burn" , and now you are telling us we should be going there 3 times with the yb,s on the east route then jump them approx 140 mls to Stafford on the west route, what a load of crud. The only thing I do agree with you on is that Cumbria is polluted with BOP, however I also think that more or less everywhere is now polluted with them

  6. Better to have a guess at it and come up with a sensible programme on the day rather than to put a lot of thought into it and then come up with what you are proposing , you're definitely from another planet. :emoticon-0140-rofl:
  7. Really surprised this programme has never been thought of before this :egyptian:
  8. 0/4 for me and I can usually at least get a timer but there are many class fanciers never got a timer from this race, extreme heat, no cloud cover, N/E wind , moon in the sky during the day and distance all add up to a stinker, seen it before and we will see it again, you get poor races when the weather is bad but not as bad as when the above conditions prevail IMO
  9. John, was thinking the same as yourself but hope not as I would love to see the race being won in the west, well done to all who have timed tonight but especially so to Jock Alston and Davie Elliot , super doos conditioned to perfection by master fanciers on what has proved to be a very difficult day
  10. So would I
  11. Very best of luck to you both
  12. Finally timed myfancy at 12:10' won't be on the result this time but happy to get a timer, very well done to all who have timed from the race
  13. Super performance, well done John
  14. Very well done Cally, hope you win the section, not that many will fly 16-3/4 hours so very game doo and well conditioned to do it.
  15. not if they have a day hand that is working you don't, but if not, sure it won't do any harm to stick a thimble in and strike it, remember to mark it as control on your clock label
  16. Hey Michael Bumped into your mucker at Crawford today while tossing doos for Alencon, so titled stray was tossed on in Blantyre at 15:40' hope it makes it this time, keep up the goog work and well done on your excellent result from Newbury
  17. PMSL, you walked right Into that one Tam
  18. Kenny,is it Gordon or Normans number your after, you post is confusing
  19. I've got one reported in Liverpool
  20. Stuart, you and Davie got it bang on yesterday as far as I'm concerned, 95/102 last night and another 4 this morning with 3 still to come, very well done.
  21. Very sorry to hear of George,s passing R.I.P.
  22. Bill, are you sure, guys from then wrong side on of the M8 training on the fed transporter , I don't believe it !!!
  23. Walter, with regards humans have you never heard of travel, air or being sea sick which are all well documented, when this happens to a person it does not mean they are clinically ill or diseased it is only a temporary sickness due to the body being unaccustomed to the motion of travel. Again I reiterate your observations do provide for thought as you have obviously studied this subject quite closely, but to say that they are factual and then ask us to believe that the whole fed will smitten with adenovirus within the next fortnight because an odd bird was sick IMO takes a bit of believing, however having said that I firmly agree that not all birds that are race marked on a Friday night are healthy.
