  1. Derek i know it goes as far east as Camelon, almost on the banks of the river Forth, which is along way east of Eaglesham for example which is probably where the furthest west flying members of Lanarkshire Fed race to,or taking this further how far east of Maybole would it be, would hazard a guess at 40 plus miles
  2. Lanarkshires race programme meeting is this Saturday 18th Oct in Newmains at 13:00 HRS. So whether you want east or west route racing, you will have to be at meeting to have your say.
  3. Well done Jim, And Alex, good race controlling in difficult weather conditions, i hope you all remember this when it comes to the race programme meeting and we have to decide if its east or west, it should be a no contest after this years turn around for yb,s.
  4. Been training seven, four cocks and three hens, all on eggs between 4 and and 12 days come Wednesday, one more toss Sunday, with i hope a straight run home. Davie.
  5. are you gonna tell us then Alf or is it a secret.

  7. Watched a perigrine attack and catch one of my neighbours youngsters in Blantyre, Lanarkshire today Sunday 6/7/08. It was giving us bother right at the start of the season but this is the first time that i have seen it since April, hope its not back on the scene so near the start of the YB racing, anybody else local had any problems recently?
  8. Received my letter from Fed this morning, and YB race route apart was surprised at additional agenda. Why have the SHU asked Lanarkshire to call a meeting???? also any clues / info with regard to undermining Fed officials
  9. Dont worry racer, wee wull,s still about.
  10. Hello Doo Whilst i agree with both Gareth and Derek that there are now 7 sections instead 4, when you consider that what was the old West Section, is now the Western Region, and we have fanciers competing in that region from towns like Camelon for example, almost on the banks of the river Forth, then i do tend to agree with you that it can at times be a bit unfair. Davie.
