we will not be racing any young birds this year as one of our club member put it, "its just not fun any more". Pairing later also helps the old birds, no need put birds together on xmas day. No need to rush young birds. Doing this for the first time this year, has lead to our first year in the last 4 years, of no young bird sickness. These losses are madness. good luck to those with birds to come as some surley will, then all will be fine till next week.

Two sections at the moment, clean one each day and find this much better for me and the birds. Takes about 10 min a day, then every second weekend we do a deep clean get into corners ex, takes about 30 min each section. Happy cleaning Really no heard off that one need try it this year

Here a wee story fae the past 20 years ago a young fancier turns up at the club to fly young birds 8 as i remember after winning the first two races he asked a couple of the older but not wiser fanciers to pay him a loft visit.this took place the following week. they found a 6x4 garden shed with no windows at all. your lofts to dark son let the light and air in its free use it your birds look great they never won again after this visit. the fanciers went to help hand on hear,t but set him back years funny old game the doos
