cheers boys. the allotments are secureish, but i,ve found the hard way that it doesnt matter what who or where you are, some people dont give a toss, and will get what they want any way they can. No where is secure not now a days, sadly.

I,m looking into possibly racing my pigeons from an allotment in the future. Can anyone give me any info regarding the above, just to give me an idea of what i would be facing. Thank you in advance, alex.

what distance is classed as long distance? just curious at to what everyone see's as being long distance. Why does all this agro come from a minority in the west? Me personally i think the whole thing is unfair. ie what is the best pigeon? the one that gets home to the shortest flying loft, or the one that times in in race time at the furthest flying loft? again just curious.

well thats me just home from the night out, what a great night it is and has been for 3 years i,ve been going. I met pals stuart maskame, chris donaldson and george taylor at waverley station then headed onto the hotel. I was sharing a room with stuart which was a great idea till 4.45am this morning when i had to let him in as he had forgot how to work the door pass. His singing was pretty piish too especially at that time o the mornin. DELBOY remember that guy that was trying to bed stuart last year????? he was at it again this year but being more discreet. Stuart did start to smoke more fags after clocking him lol lol lol Now its oor fed night 20th november followed by club night on 27th november whilst celebrating my birthday on the 26th november. Bring it on lol

I know, its a big lesson learned.

I spoke to the guy who asked for rings, he offered me 4 instead of 2 which i thought was brilliant after all i had been through and starting back up again. So you can imagine my feelings when i recieved none. Didnt report him as i didnt really know the rules ect ect. But i,m very wary now.

I would leave it up to the seller to let others see how things are progressing thus updating his/her sale. It would help everyone involved in the sale of pigeons/items. its the minority ruining it for the majority, as is normaly the case.

last year i bought 2 yb for children in need sale and recieved nowt??????? wont be doin that again

It would be a good idea to put the sales list up first then as the auction goes on keep it updated to who is the winning bids. Then at the end a final update is done to show who were the winners. As the payments are recieved, again the list can be updated, even add the date when payment was made. This would give us all a clear indication who the buyers were, who has paid and also how prompt the payments were made. This would in turn give credit to the honest guys (most of us), and also shame the bad payers. Only an aidea, just dont like honest people being taken for a ride due to idiots. Hope you get it sorted dougie, i,m sure you will.
