  3. Lochgelly Homing Society 294 birds away to kelso.
  4. Fife fed at Kelso, 1st race, 48 miles.
  5. It appears that way Brian, something needs to be done me thinks. "Our Fed sale was on the same day as the SNFC sale". How many Fifers went to this one??, if it was the clash that caused our poor turn out, then it needs to be addressed. The ones being let down are the very organisations that need the funds so badly. I couldn't donate due to lack of numbers, but went to buy, so as to gain another bird, and also be part of the breeder buyer. The internet seems the best way forward.
  6. thats my last 2 home now, so 9 out of 9, happyish.
  7. Our federations, breeder buyer held today in the club rooms of Novar Homing Society. I,m pleased to have purchased another of Mick Donnachie's pigeons at our fed sale today, really looking forward to seeing how they go.
  8. had my 3rd training toss so far this year. toss 1 = lost 3 toss 2 = lost 1 toss 3 = waiting on 2. started with 13, only 7 left, mmmmmm what to do?
  9. looking good gary. good luck with them.
  10. I,m using the calling of an eagle owl on cd, which appears to help. I was hammered with the hen and cock sparrow hawk, also the peregrine from Mossmoran, and whether its down to luck or the cd, i,ve not had a hit touch wood.
  11. £20 lot 18 please. Thanks >>> Ian
  12. Whats that Alf,
  13. Brian the reason it is being played in england is because its an away fixture, so it was up to the brazilians to name the place to play, apparently. I would have thought it should have been played in the nations country :emoticon-0138-thinking:

    Training

I,ll be giving mine a wee refresher from over the forth just to get them in the right frame of mind. Then i,ll be putting them away with the training trailer 3 times before the first race then once a week thereafter.
  15. They were really good at keeping everyone up to date with how fanciers and clubs were doing. It would be brilliant to see them back, or something similar. Do we have to wait for the original ones to be started or can we see a new set up? Not got long till the season is in full swing
  16. did u race it wullie? how did u get on?
  17. not worth an answer.
  18. Just stating a valid point regarding the programme. I,ll not be slinging any hook, since when were u a moderator for this site :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:
  19. Archie have you raced from the morpeth or marlborough sites? If so how did you get on and how did the members rate the sites?
  20. brilliant Roland.
  21. rest in peace to the both of you, another 2 heroes taken from us, so sad.
  22. I removed my posts mucker.
  23. Thank you brian. Clocks are a split division brian, we have 8 using ets and 10 manual clocks but its not a problem just a wee trickier doing the result
  24. Lochgelly Homing Society welcomes new members Mel and Cath Jarvis, Jim Doig, Wullie Henderson & daughter, all formerly Cardenden club which has now disbanded. Andrew Graham from Ballingry also joins the club. This means that we have a very healthy 18 lofts, which cover lochgelly, kelty, cardenden, crosshill and Ballingry. The club has now doubled in size in the last 3 years, mainly due to Glencraig and cardenden clubs folding, and Andrew is returning to the sport after a period of being away. I wish all members a great 2011 season.
