think it was raised at shu and all was within rules. any member can put forward proposal to agm to change rule. if you need 5 members for a club and 4 clubs for a fed there should be a rule stating minimum of 20 separate members to form a fed

for security reasons. the more present the less chance of malpractice

i think it is 4 plus the member you are marking then 4 to be present at all times when birds are marked

unfortunately there are many clubs with 5 or 6 members and on the border line as many are getting on in years. nothing to stop a member putting a motion to the shu agm that a fancier of good repute cannot be denied membership of their nearest club. or ask your fed delegate to raise it at next council meeting

i dont understand your logic. the open result would be the same whether there were two sections or twenty sections. there is no such thing as a fair result in national racing. we all fly different distances with wind favouring one area more than another. if there were two sections as you say would be better you would soon complain about the fife dundee and angus lads whacking you most of the time. finally i would rather win the section from eastbourne than top the fed but if i won the section i would top our fed as well. every fed is hard to win not just the north

dont know why you have so much to say about snfc when you are not a member. you obviously know very little about long distance racing. eastbourne wont affect the reims entry because almost every fed in scotland went to the south coast that weekend before the snfc put eastbourne in the programme. distance fliers have their gold cup birds prepared before eastbourne. there is a hard core of dedicated distance men who go to the longest race and there is no way they will send there birds to ypres instead. going by the last two years ypres seems to be a favoured race for yearlings after eastbourne. there was at least one yearling on the result from newbury, eastbourne, ypres and falaise last year. fantastic performance
