showing a complete disrespect to fanciers who fly shorter distances ask many in belg who fly Quievrain and what they think of the competition at the shorter distances many have said it was tougher than trying to win on the middle distance or longer after they moved up many of today's middle champions were sprint specialists only in the last 5 to 10 year and are still winning with basically the same family of birds try winning the south road fed in ireland last year i believe had 10,000 birds competing in a race last year they regularly hit 8000 or the might nipa and there plenty more with some of the best fanciers in europe racing in these organizations the competition is fierce and not to be sniffed at far from it why people try to have a go at sprint or middle distance races is beyond me

Id belive so as its a stimulant which I belive would do more harm to a pigeon Id want my birds resting sleeping if possible in the basket not been wide awake for 12 hrs or more only to be tired when its release time One of the reasons basket training is so important of course learning how to drink but what i feel is more important that birds know what its like to be in a basket over night and know how to rest in them i belive a lot don't learn this propely as babies and it comes as a massive shock to them when there put into a basket

Where another problem may lie is most pigeon products come from belg or Holland what's to say the product may pass the drug laws in there own country and not in ours It may have to come down to the whole of Europe getting togeather to sort out this problem once and for all that may be difficult as we still can't really get around where a ets pad should be or where it should not be with I have to say some of wording by some unions

its a minefield at the moment i use very little products as most are crap i use a lot more natural stuff in herbs and vegetables etc
