  2. Thanks , I never treated for anything last year and had a lot of empty eggs so will treat this year .
  3. Was speaking to a top west sect fancier on Friday he said he never feeds barley but feeds beans instead as they don't like them but will eat enough to get by so keeping the fat off. All roads lead to Rome , I have not seen any price diff on any feeds .
  4. Walter , if your pairing up that early when if at all do you start treating for worms/cocci/paratyphus ? Surely they will still be in the moult at that time ,
  5. Only just found out about it or I would have came through ,maybe next year . Hope it goes well , get Doug to take them up the legion a lot cheaper lol.well done all winners .
  6. Great read Del thanks for the mention but after all that great info you have NO CHANCE of getting my field . Best of luck next season , ps I still have a g/daughter off spider she is a belter and is going over the water next year . Colin
  7. Is there a bar in the big blue ..?
  8. This year after being in partnership with the brother for years getting my first club win as a sole flyer I was on cloud nine and at 54 was like a teenager that is why I race them when you win you can't explain , went on to win 4 races but should have been 6 but we all say that lol.
  9. You must know the brother Doug grieve who also went on to breed 2nd open Rennes for Andrew Bertram 7th open for Eric dishington Nantes and also Donald's winner , Doug was and is a very underestimated pigeon man who also raced the superstar who won 27 ( I think ) races from 60 mls / 500 mls topping the fed when he should'nt have a great pigeon that never even got a write up ( I think) . But there are hundreds that we never hear of .
  10. Well that puts st chads out lol . You need to be at the other end , the imperial or the strand is nice .
  11. We had a pigeon from whit sons that was 37th yb nat that went on to breed Donald mc farlane 1st yb nat winner so top drawer.
  12. St chads on front bit out dated but fantastic time .
