Show off, lol Still 0/3 first time in a long while never got doo home , good race or bad we have to accept it .

I,m not saying the K index is crap but why do some birds still get home around the expected velocity and the rest don't , I do believe that the sun and moon in sky at same time causes problems , Today both were up at same time and when I went to let yb s out they sat in loft for more than 10 mins before coming out ? They normally take my head off when I open loft . But to be honest we will never know so can't cancel races just because the atmosphere is dodgy but this is only my thoughts and I,m usually wrong lol.

Not that hard , but have to be honest other than the yearling the other 2 had something to prove and failed .but gold cup next no negative thoughts here lol . How you get on yesterday your loft been going well.

Well for every one but ME lol , 0/3 ? 5yr old my second pigeon from alencon last year (Thursday ) 4 yr old hen with bags of experience and a yearling , were all coming well in training but just shows you can't garentee anything . Well done all that timed in .

There was no dig just your comment at bottom , nothing wrong with keeping a few fav,s . My season starts and finishes with the gold cup lol so that will tell me how my season is lol. All best CG

I would like to pick up on this breathing stale air from the baskets , there is a topic either on here or on pigeonchat about a pigeon breeder ie for retail meat and he went into great detail about how to maintain the best health in his stock and their own droppings were the best by far ! Also if you ever went into the old stone doo cote it was feet deep in sheet with very strong ammonia smell so my belief is a few days on shavings will not do them any harm . I have also stated previous that I have never seen a pigeon lie down in the geraldy crate but when I basket mine for any race they just chill out in the shavings . Again jmo

Maybe 300 mls but 8 plus hours on wing takes a bit off , Mind you my section winner was my second bird 9 1/2 hours and came clapping around house as if he had been to bottom of village but the yearling that came with him was a wee bit knackered lol . Well done on your section win .
