Well the SNFC meeting was a waste of time ,they moved the birds for welfare reasons, and why are we basketing today when we have very little chance of a race this weekend ! I just spoke to a mate in Ireland and they have delayed basketing from today until sat, why must our birds sit in a basket for possibly 4 days if not needed .

Yes Andy it is and they get good birdage so not a bad wee training race .

3 1/2 hrs from Appleby with midland 6/12 must be well late ! went with clock and everyone gone lol ,it`s chuck`t doon all morning in greengairs . onto the snfc on thurs or fri or sat or whenever. lol

I Also agree maybe have one race as a yearling only , i think we are the only distance club that does not have one ,our fed the midland only have one open race (that was cancelled )what was wrong with having 2 opens in our feds and 4 water races and a yearling from ypres in the SNFC. ymo

Midland fed has also put back basketing.

Had my 4 at Newbury and my best chance was either of the 2 that have no returned. Wish i had heeded the brothers warning about newbury,

I had 0/5 last night but have 3/5 today so who thinks the birds all went down to drink ? as my birds all hold good body .

Not getting into any politics , i know the sec, i am in the same club , but there is only one person or position that can over rule anybody and that is not the seceretary(spelling) ! Nearly 4000 birds away and at this moment you will be lucky if 300 home , the President should be kicked out Now if what the controllers say is true . i feel gutted for all the good pigeons that have not been given a hells chance today ,We as fanciers will get over this but will the pigeons. i can confirm this and are looking to lib around 7am ,fingers crossed . i have my 3 gold cup birds here hope it has not scunnered them .

Just gave my 1st round 3days/2 nights and give my old birds 1/1 before racing , some do it some don,t.

This was ment to be my first National flying on my own in a new area was looking forward to it ! DONT CARE NOW JUST WANT MY BIRDS BACK .

On a lighter note must be fookin boring for the drivers and how does he get time off.

Lets hope thats not the case and that the wellfair of our birds come first and don`t lib because of time restraints.

Could someone with a rule book look to see the ruling on how late before a holdover will be called, Not sh** stirring just thought 10 am is very early and what is to stop it being a 2 day race , Think it was Fife , the wagon had McCord on it.

What about the working fanciers most that don`t have ets are not going to time in including me .

I Agree it is way behind the times,never tells you anything of any use ,and the libline is pathetic, why cant they give us some detail on the reasons and where the bad weather is . andy is a clubmate of mine and does his best but he only does it because nobody else will. Doo`s should have been up yesterday and they know that .Fooked up.
