  14. i think it's a crazy idea for a inland race, why not basket a bit earlier. i'm sending to messac with the bbc this weekend and have to basket my birds at 7-00 in the morning ,it's akward as i work shifts but better than the day before. next week also the welsh southeast combine will be at ramsgate which is 240 mls to me and they still go teatime friday and it don't seem to harm them.

  23. on the whole i find it's not worth the time bothering with latebreds but i do have 1 good here that was not trained as a yb but flown around the loft as a yearling he had 6 races upto 160 mls(normally last 1 home but was 6th club last race of the season) as a 2 year old he flew really well flying all welsh south east nationals(6) and taking 4th,6th,8th+11th section from maidstone, ramsgate, oudenaarde+brussels.i've got a few this year but i've dropped a couple already and they've only been 20 mls.

    Greyhounds

hi chrissy, i have a retired greyhound at the moment he broke his leg racing but we could'nt put him down now he's a pet and is very playful with us and our other dog which is a staff, they are very friendly dogs
  25. i asked this on another chat site a couple of weeks ago and was told by people in the know that they race their birds in germany first to select the better ones and then send them out to africa , they tell me the sun city resort is in the middle of a dessert and there's nowhere for the birds to go and it is to far for them to try and go home so they settle ok along with the 5,000 or so other birds that's there.
