meulemans as stated by our janssen friend, les, do come in many covers meulemans - wouters meulemans - marien meulemans - damen janssen van den bosche van den bosche but i would think you should do your research king billy before buying, would you buy a car without knowing the history of it..... i think its sensible ... spencer

Hi just to update people , I have read all on the subject of pigeons and to maybe get an answer as to where Jos Van Den Bosche originally got he;s pigeons ? well my research has lead me to a gentleman in USA ( very reliable source) who has informed me that Van den Bosche has the bloodlines of Rene Maas . Also Jos Van Den Bosche was a friend of Charles van der Espt and the Brothers van Der espt. Charles van der Espt had pigeons from Van der Velde, whos pigeons orininate from Gurney, ( brown coloration in flights maybe?) Gurney was Hensenne loft boy as a lad and had hes entire colony once Hanssenne died. so just to recap I think Van den Bosche are a mix of Rene Maas and Van der Espt pigeons.. other various bloodlines may also be in them, my reasearch goes on. But I must find concrete proof of the for mentioned facts, only person who really knows is Mr J V D Bosche himself. regards spencer

I have watched people buy pigeons and sell pigeons on a number of sites. But what gets me is that players or fanciers, call them what you will... sell pigeons and say they are overstocked and need nestbox space, only for them to buy different pigeons from someone else a week or so later, what does this mean? the pigeons they sold are weeding out rubbish? maybe? but do fanciers not cull their rubbish ? seems not!! well I think if anyone is going to sell pigeons (myself included) then they should have some kind of licence to do so . a annual fee of £200 could be a idea , so that people do not sell rubbish and its cheaper for them to stick in the soup pot.. this is not directed personnaly at anyone, but before buying pigeons, take a look if the person your buying from has not sold before hand, which means your getting hie or her off casts ... what do you guys think? spencer
