returns from leyland with midlothian seem to be good know 1 fancier had 40/44 the chap william who had 7/13 now has 10/13 other people I have spoken to had full returns or just a couple missing got to remember it was 150+mls you will always get some peole losing more depending on the condition the birds were sent to race

unfortunaly due to the poor forcast for tomorow sunday over scotland the race from appleby is cancelled next week pigeons will be hopefully going to carnforth

my job as arace controller is first the welfare of the pigeons and try and get as many birds back to there lofts as possible not bother about the drinking being lost down the pub im afraid im not one of the chuck up charlies

myself last week longtown I hade 53 away got 48 which I thought was good but this week the first 40 mins had over 30 home other people I have spoken too have had good returns I just hope its not the dreaded lurgy will just have to watch the young birds this week keep fingers crossed that its not
