let me put you sraight here there was no talk of liberating pigeons this morning at newbury as it was pissing it down so there was no talk of liberating and if kenny young said to us it was not good enough to lib then it was not good enough end off so dinna start that crap about race controllers and convoyers falling out as that did not happen and as for officials overuling race controllers in there decisions is out of order unless in a dire emergency which in this case was not

we the controllers had spoken with officials that if birds could not be liberated today we would move them in the afternoon to leicester for a liberation tomorrow as forcast was better on east side of country olso it would give the pigeon approx 2hrs less on the wing giveing them a better chance of getting home especially the birds going up north but we were never told what was happening in other words our intention was overuled as the forcast after tomorrow is all down hill again we were only thinking of the welfare of the birds so I wish who ever takes on the race controllers jobs the best of luck as I think you will need it peter calder ex snfc race control team

we midlothian raced our youngbirds down west route last year we had good racing nowhere near the losses we were getting down east side reason it was changed back because certain clubs were not winning there fed tickets these clubs came out in full at agm just for that purpose main thing was the weather

could all members please fill in fed duplication sheets for snfc newbury to aviod any confusion if more are required for maidtone get in touch with fed sec and will try to get more provided

if there are 2 inland nats surely they should be provided for both races simple

dont think midlothian members going through snfc will need to fill in a duplication sheet as if they time in clock slip should suffice as ring number etc is on clock slip as this is not an open race in fed as we are having to run a seperate marking station for fed birds hand clock slips to your club secs who will make up result then pass on to fed sec to make up fed result
