  1. Away from race programmes, transporters, birdages etc for a minute- One of the things for me that would get a bit of the ‘prestige’ back into long distance racing in this country would be the reintroduction of something similar to ‘Scotland’s own’. A professionally presented, well put together year book, that anybody can get hold of, in which a number of the season’s top distance men from Scotland and further afield are invited to contribute a piece that could be of benefit to channel racing novices or old hands on whatever topic related to long distance racing they see fit.
  2. 0 from 2 that had 5 SNFC cross channel tickets between them. Disappointing on a personal level, but pleased to see some of the PB members in. Great pigeons and pigeon men
  3. Aye well put JADE
  4. Aye I think yer right there. Given the time of year it will be a convoy of very fit pigeons, they'll certainly need every bit of it to perform well in the weather forecast
  5. Clermont should be interesting with a light NE wind forecast all the way.
  6. Not sure of the exact transport situation, but if you look at the Gold Cup race I think the transporter used could have held nearly double the birds entered in the race. In the case of that race there was really no need to have as many as 20 in a basket.
  7. let's hope it's a good end to this season's channel racing kinofa lost the place a bit this season, but will have another roll of the dice Good luck to all competing
