These "All rounders" seem to be a bit of a rare breed to be honest.Ones that spring to mind though in TODAY'S game, the VERY TOP level fanciers to beat from 60-600 miles are John McNeil,W.Kinnear & son,John Hodgson and John Duthie.Fancy a few more to join them in the next two or three years mind you. Obviously some peoples lofts aren't in as good positions as others so a lot of top flyers struggle to dominate from every distance. One things for sure though if I had a pigeon in amongst those guys I'd have a gidyin -

I got gifted some pigeons back in 2003 off a top fancier up my way-Ian "Toddler" Brown. They are VERY dark red.Right old fashioned looking doos. Hope to be clocking some of there offspring next year -
Are averages important?I suppose no but in my relatively short time racing the doos have found 8 or 9 times out of 10 it the BEST fanciers that win them

Depends on the type of racing-Sprint,channel etc. But local to me I'd say John McNeil,Tommy Blair and the Macaloneys All time great for their results and impact maybe Johnny Kirkpatrick,Jock Reid or the Newcombes Best National loft in Scotland this century-W.Kinnear and son

Nah started off with my dad with one loft in 2000 then gradually got more stopped in 2007 and gave away most of the doos but kept a few back as pets. so the lofts lay empty til last year when they started to get progressively fuller again -

Another one of those things George-some folk do it with success others don't believe in it I'm a year ahead of yourself in as much as I started back with youngsters last year.I was happy enough getting my yearlings out of Leicester or Maidstone this season with the intention of them going across the water next year as 2yos If I had an established team of doos or there was a pigeon that was asking to be sent I'd maybe be tempted though -
