I read that the Nutritional value of Hemp seed is ZERO!!! I don't think it was in a pigeon mag though. But its in most small seed mixes and mine get theirs through that, but having read that article i wouldn't include it in my feeding program independent of other feeds.

2,402 birds away, with a S/W wind the number that can actually win 1st Open is probably around the 400 mark, but all the sections will all be well in on the Open result, that's why i like it more than the French race points. jmo.

My point in all of this is, Alencon is our Derby/GrandNational/Crufts, compare it to what you will, it is the GOLD CUP race, the PREMIER RACE IN SCOTLAND and as such there is NO ROOM for error, when the error is of the magnitude of the liberation on Saturday then you've proved beyond doubt that you are not up to the job and as such should not control any further races, be it by themselves or by the committee they should not control Ypres. That's my opinion and it won't alter one iota.
