Hardly complimentary remarks towards people who have a different opinion from yersel, the insinuation is that fanciers are a bit lacking in intellect, in other words SLAGGING fanciers off.

It's a Dalzell pigeon Lindsay, Peter2010 on here is the Sec, or 01698 911148. Cheers.

He's no happy at posting his opinion Jimmy, he wants to slag people off for their opinion. Canny even tell the truth about how he takes it "water off a ducks back" then why the F did he PM me greetin that am Out Of Order. I was only posting ma opinion of him.

You're a Liar, you've never raced a pigeon in your life and you live here in Britain. I'll add that you're a COWARD as well, coming on here anonymously and picking an argument. Put your name up and the club/fed you claim to race in then you may get some credibility, but i doubt it.

Ps. I see one of your's came tonight at 6.17pm, great effort considering the weather was atrocious today down there/ 160mls of rain at the start of the journey home with visibility very poor as well.

143 returned from 385 racing yesterday Derek. There were 1,053 Yb's in the lofts at the start of the year and now just 170'ish left, disnae make for good reading. Mind you it does say on the Home Page that they will be tested to the limit and ye takes yer chance when entering. Have to say that everything else down there is first class, Terry and Jane really looked after everyone.

Well the race is done and dusted now with a local man winning first prize of £11,000 and another £3,000 in pools. Best Scottish bird was for wee Pat Docherty and Son who finished in 7th place. Seven pigeons dropped together with the winner going in around 20 seconds in front of the others. The only criticism of the race was some birds dropped onto wire doors instead of the traps indicating they were allowed in and out of the doors when around the loft, when imo they should only have ever been allowed to enter the loft trough the traps. Two of the first 7 trapped onto the doors and its a pity that poor schooling may have cost their owners the win. jmo. http://www.somerseto...ay225082014.htm

17/20 naturals for me and ma camping partner in Somerset, Boab Clarke has 11/12 . -
I know exactly what you mean Wullie as i have around 25 later bred birds who would have been sent to a comeback race. However the members present at the race program AGM seen fit not to include a comeback race. It could be argued but i doubt Very much even for our size of Fed, if we would fill 50 baskets with late bred or returning from injury birds. I stress again though that unless i have been spoken to about it, or some of the other officials approached about it then its a non starter. JMO.

If that's the case why has no one on the committee heard of it?? Seems that approaching one of us would be the Starting point for any additional races, or 150 signatures call an EGM and have it included, bumming in a club dosn't get anywhere.
-
Aye everything i've read about it and the guys who have went down before all confirm its a great race and a great day down there on final race day, really looking forward tae it. Ps. I canny see the M doo beating 48 lol atvb in the final. John

10/10 tae you Andy for finding that, top notch mate. Ps. Great tae have ye back.

Ave pondered this a lot today and come to the conclusion that both Yb's are Hens. My reasoning being that, they are obviously out of a Red Hen........If a Ck was in that nest it would have HAD to be a Red, so the Yb's are Hens making it 3 Hens in the Pic.

Brilliant for all fanciers leading the Fed this week, but especially Geroge breaking his duck in tremendous style, Well Done wee man -
By far this is the most courageous post ever put up on the forum. Your strength of character shines through your every word Frank and the feedback from the men who's life's you have touched paints a picture of humility kindness and generosity with your knowledge of pigeons shared with men looking to improve their loft and results. You will indeed be sorely missed by all of us on PB, but we have the comfort of your courage in the face of death and your memory will live long within us. God bless your family and may he always bestow his love on you and them........ John Quinn.
