  1. That is exactly my point Davy, our birds have been racing 2 different races for years and for years the west have had no chance of winning the race when the strings were cut. When i win at anything i like to think my opponent has had an equal opportunity to what i had when the bell rings so to speak, the way the YB national is run just now does not give every bird in the basket that chance. I know the wind determines where the winners will be, we can't do anything about that, however we can try to rectify the problems that are within our scope. jmo.
  2. Thta's what all of our predecessors have done but in this Race their Day has never come and NEVER will, I enjoy my doos MORE than many of my peers because losing doesn't affect me the way it does others. All my pleasure comes in the run up to the race when i will state to any one listening my doos are unbeatable, when i'm wrong (98% of the time) my name is nearer the Bottom of the result BUT when i win it make up for the 98%% easily
  3. I've just had a look at the result of the SNFC Yb national. The OUTSTANDING fact is that from 242 OPEN positions available NOT ONE was won into Reg E or F. That is a ridiculous statistic that repeats itself year on year and is allowed to continue because it rocks the boat when a split Liberation for East/North and South/West sections is proposed. IMO. Its time for split libs to be used to reduce losses from this race and to give a Truer reflection of the birds when the result is published as i'm certain the West Section birds would take their FAIR SHARE of the Open positions.
  4. Good shootin Aldo well done
  5. Think that would only happen if an objection was lodged Henrik, though not certain of this it does seem the most logical way it would come to that. I imagine it would be a matter of course to verify the winners stated distance with the SHU in any case.
  6. I imagine it will be decided by Decimals Brian at the velocities being recorded, so i don't think the Secretary will know yet
  7. Well done John, that's a good doo flying into Greenock in that wind

  13. Canny think of any fanciers who deserve it more, Well Done Andy and Davy.
  14. Motivation IMO is the same for all doos regardless of age, so if you win doing certain things with your old birds replicate it with the Yb's.
