Aye it wis good Alan caught up wae a few guys. Nae drink but still managed ti buy a doo. Picked a crackin hen off JPS Lofts stand and got a great deal fae Ian Stafford so all in all a nice weekend.

Aye. My wife says they should’ve held them out in the fresh air cos the way they were bidding their brains were obviously starved of oxygen ( I was one of them) lol But she said it was a blessing there were guys with more cash than me, her pensions safe for another month

I was honoured to be a friend of Bob,a great man & fancier. Many memories of Bob, like driving him to Blackpool when he was recuperating . Going in to the show you only got a couple of steps at a time as so many people stopped to speak to Bob. And when working at his house about springtime when my doos were still sleeping. After a couple o hours talking to Bob I could'nt wait to get home and pair up etc. Such was his infectious enthusiasm. He was also a great benefactor to the North Of Scotland Federation and founder member. Others better versed than me will document Bob's racing exploits, but for me timing a hen to be 2'nd Sec Niort SNFC twice at nine and ten years old at over 780 miles says it all simply the best Condolences to Gina and family.
