I have all my best pigeons left this year yes like everyone else I have lost doos but not my best they were good pigeons but average against my best they will be 3 and 4 yo next year and raced the west since babies ,only a small percentage of birds are capable of going it alone when things don't pan out these are the one's we want at the end of the year Your right Vincent only the best win but they are a small percentage of the convoys Most birds are sent to compete only a small percentage are capable of winning and they need the wee man on their shoulder once it gets to 500 atb mick

Hope some work in Ewan As you well know mate the liberation at Gretna wasn't the problem as there are fanciers there who exercise birds morning and night its when they try to work home on line of flight in open countryside they meet the problem 4 nests sites between you and Gretna minimum give them two young each that's 16 that need to be out of the sky at one time for our birds to home as a group just aint going to happen We as fanciers all blame racepoints but its the whole line of flight home that's the issue Atb Pal

    Bird Of Prey ?

Very Difficult to identify nowadays Stuart with so many Hybred birds being released ,there has been one down here of same description as you state for over a year now ,I have talked to the bird of prey men in the town and they have not gave me a constructive answer ,Do know We have Sparrowhawk ,Goshalk,Peregrine,Hen Harrier in abundance even the osprey is a common site in these parts The Peregrine activity has been the worst I've seen for 3/4 years at present its a lottery letting the doos out Not scaremongering mate just telling it as it is Atb Mick
