Well done to Mr Wiseman, (clear winner) and to all section winners. With excellent returns surely Reims should be considered the racepoint for the "Gold Cup" for the foreseeable future, by the SNFC committee & members.

excellent returns

your having a joke surely

only 1 bird in the north section in race time :emoticon-0127-lipssealed: :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

5 x 1st Sect winners in the first 6 of the national. The North guys had their main Federation race from Battle at the weekend. Maybe the best birds were sent there instead of Reims. Always harder with a small entry of 22 birds in an extremely testing day weather wise. :drinking-coffee-200:

What was wrong with Liege as a Gold Cup race, all sections won in the first 30 Open, including the North Section? One of the best Gold Cups in years

Listen dingal I'm a traditionalist its too short and lucky the wind was in the east and a Fri lib. Give it a couple of years they'll be wanting Ypres as the Gold Cup race. :emoticon-0136-giggle: :emoticon-0136-giggle: :emoticon-0136-giggle:

Well done John, I was also pleased to see most of the early birds being reported on lib line as there is nothing worse than thinking you have won the national only to find later that some one has a better velocity and they have sat looking at everyone else results on lib line and have never let on.
