Nice we read Walter just what was needs to give everyone a boost before the season gets underway dreaming of a doo from 500miles puts a smile on my face

Pity ye lost the wee hen the following year but that's happened to lots of us, and at the time it's a damm sore feeling!

It's the interesting stories leading up to it though that we also remember fondly.

The form spot only tells when a bird is in peak condition it dosent tell if its a good bird . Myother pick your 2nd bird had the same apot but it was on the wane .I looked at Callum walkers 5 birds for Arras the week after yours and he had a 5 yr old blue pied cock . Its eye told me this was in top condition and said pull it all the way . He said its 5 but never done anything before just homes . Anyway 10.40 pm almost pitch dark bang a bird hits loft roof and runs in 5yr old blue pied cock think it was 2nd sect and well up in open .Ps he didnt pool it lol .
