Danny, are you advocating that the National do not convey Federation pigeons? This is the only way to stop non-National entered pigeons having an effect on the drag.

If this is the purpose behind your thread, then it stands to reason that the next step would be to stop the Inland Nationals and return to Federation races at this distance. This is financially impossible, so Combines would have to be formed. Whilst I personally don't think that this would be a bad thing, I think that the National needs the income from the Inlands to finance its water races. You may be correct, that this demerits the National standing, but I feel you are really only raising point because you know it will receive comments.

I have heard it mooted for around four years, I'm sure it has been mooted for longer, for a West amalgamation. As yet, this has not came about because and only recently Ayrshire liberated five minutes after the Caledonian Combine. Utter madness, but this is what one expects from pigeon men determined to secure their individual advantage over the benefit of the majority.

Would not have a problem if the national put none qualifying birds, in black baskets, and released them 30 minutes later, just like the UNC can manage then it would have less effect
