Got one back today as well but has been out all winter third flight all fretted and still car ring it's last three flights

our one has fully moulted out so def been in , into the widows he will go

Ill give this one the year off but train her she flu the full youngbird programme and a few with Lanarkshire lost her at come back aycliff

Remember we also got a hen back two weeks ago, lost at Leicester last year, she looks as if she has been is somewhere as she is in good nick.

You wonder how a bird gets lost and can navigate the following year when the breeding instinct kicks in.

Really John? I have tried and failed miserably so now just knock it on the head. Landing on roofs....fielding etc winds me up lol

Yeah definitely have two in the race team this year that took 7 months to do the last young bird race,had a great moult and will expect them at the nationals,will keep you posted :partick-thistle-Crest:

I think some are deliberately kept in and let out at this time of year to see if they will stay then reported as just came in and ask you if ok to transfer,especially if lost when double ring,jmo

Just had a 3 year old hen turn up that went awol from a *expletive removed* of a Peterborough Race on the 18th June last year !! Bit rough looking but fine !!

had a 2015 latebred turn up last monday

 

she was lost winter training in 2015

 

turned up wearing an ets ring

never had one when i lost her THANKS

 

 

also had a latebred from last year turn up about 3 weeks ago

lost off the loft

she was in cracking nick AGAIN THANKS to whoever had them in
